Looking to see vintage cars being used. Not interested in car show shots. But vehicles out and about town (or country)
Here's some I've seen. |

Keith, I like the 78-79 Monza wagon parked next to your truck!
I just happened to take this picture yesterday In North Buffalo NY, 70? GP & 63-64 Impala, both have been there on and off for the last 2 weeks I have been here. Also earlier this week there was a beat up Diesel Chevette in the Tonawanda engine plants parking lot. If it shows up again I will snap a picture. |
Wow, diesel Chevette, that is a blast from the past. A friend bought one new in the early 80's. He said it was the slowest accelerating vehicle GM ever made.

Jerry, as I was leaving the plant yesterday there was no Chevette, but there was this very nice looking if slightly pimped Duece & a Quarter 4-door. The colors didn't come out well in the drive by picture, it is a pale yellow with a white top.
But as I was walking in this morning there was the D Chevette. The driver must work night shift. |

Ah yes, the Electra 225. I remember a guy back in the day always talking about getting a Duece and a quarter in white on white on white.

If you're looking for cars in original condition this doesn't fit, but it is a 1969. Seen parked at the local Arby's restaurant today. Don't know what it had for an engine but there was a six speed transmission, along with houndstooth upholstery.

Heres some of my 71 and 77 that I daily from about April to December. Nothing feels better than jumping in a classic and just going about your day like you were driving a regular car.

I was out around town. Stopped in on our alignment buddy. He had just finished up the '65 Vette with the 396 in the background. He's a wizard on the alignment. Always perfect.

Last Friday when I was back in Michigan for a couple of days, I saw this 55 Chevy 4-Door running 75mph down the highway. I almost got the passenger side.
I passed me so quick I didn't notice the modern wheels and tires until I looked at the pictures. |
