Vintage Cammer Pics

I thought there was a thread of Vintage cammer pictures but I could not find one going back 5 pages or with the search bar.

This picture was posted on a station wagon forum I frequent. Looks to be a 66 Sprint Lemans in the back row along with a 67 GTO and a 61 Full Size Pontiac.

That is quite a unique model..it looks like there are vertical lines in the grill. Amazing what a few changes can do to a car. I've never seen these before.

What rpm and how for how long do you think they were at when taking that second picture?

I like the first picture with the guy taking cover behind the test panel.

I look at the way he's leaning forward with his arms crossed, casually waiting and figure his thoughts to be something like;
COME ON, COME ON, BLOW you SOB! :D

I wonder how much hotter than that, does cast iron start to puddle on the floor?:)

Jeff,

If you still have the vintage photo of an A-Body and F-body, front ends, side-by-side, showing their relative size, I'd like to see that one again. I think they were both 1969.

CR,
The only one that seems to match that is from the 1969 Mailer.

Is it perhaps this one you're referring to?

Carousel-Red 04-09-2016 12:18 PM

Yes! That's the one. Thanks Jeff and Mike. For some reason I like that picture. I've been looking for about a month. Thanks again!
