I have a friend that has a 1963 full size Pontiac. He needs ball joints, control arm bushings, and maybe tie rods, etc. Where do I tell him to go?

Contact Dennis Macdonald at 760-746-0111 he usually has bushings and ball joints in stock for the early cars. I would take Todds suggestion first especially check with Napa often you can find the lowers ball joints but not the uppers.Performance yearsstocks most of these parts, Ames also stocks most of these parts.

Darrell (or anyone with similar recent experience with PST) - my experience with PST bushings (front and rear control arms) for early full-size is that the bushing sleeves are for 1/2" bolts, not 9/16", as required. This creates an obvious problem - but the last time I bought bushings from them was four years ago, and when I brought up the issue of the 1/2" sleeves, I was told to just use 1/2" bolts - doesn't work - anyone that that has some more recent experience, please jump in, as new bushings with 9/16" sleeves would be a god's send.

Tinindn, My pst susp. kit bushings do take the 9/16 bolts as required. It is a new kit purchased this year. Darrell
