Saw this on craigslist
https://sacramento.craigslist.org/ct...997632451.html Very cool. 1957 with the factory Pontiac engine still in place, Napco four wheel drive conversion, and a big rear window. You don't see those every day. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...3&d=1570850092 |
I like that. Got sidetracked thinking of the possibilities and how nice it could be.
Then my wife brought me back to reality with my current project. :-ohwell: |

Never heard of Napco, Northwestern Auto Parts Company. Cool

Napco started out of a junkyard in Minneapolis, it's an interesting story. http://www.napco4x4.org/history4.htm

Several years back, I saw a 1958 NAPCO suburban that had been used by the Park Service out west. The engine and transmission was original, but the axles had been upgraded to Blazer axles. The color was changed, but overall it was surprisingly original.
I thought it was really neat, but the price tag was pretty high. |
