77 smog pump 350 403

HI,
just working at my 77 Firebird with the 350 Olds engine (CA Car) and saw that the hose connectors to smog pump is loose ...i fixed with an zip tie..can i glue this ?? Any idea how it`s original ? |
It's a press fit adapter, or perhaps had a grommet or similar, i remember the pump i had, that part moved a little side to side but would not come off. It would also have to seal if operational.
