1980 trans am air cleaner flex duct
 

I bought a 1980 trans am with a 301 motor. Does anyone make the air cleaner flexible air intake duct? Mine is in bad shape and cant find any to fit a 1980. If they are not reproduced what is everyone doing to solve the problem. Thanks for any help.

Is this your type, approx 3" diameter, round one end, oval the other?

Not much is available other than the 4" version as used by the turbo 301 and big engines. Others have used items such as these industrial hose offcuts, even some of the resto shops had them on ebay when the standard 4" hose wasn't available, does a good job while nothing else exists.
