IIRC: Around this time of year in 2007; I was talking to Larry Kummer.
I told him the Pontiac G8 name reminded me of the V8 juice commercials; and it would be funny if Pontiac did an ad takeoff with the same marketing using the cans with the Pontiac G8 logo and I Could Of Had A G8! commercial spots. Too bad the creative types at Pontiac and V8 had not done a little cross marketing - it would have been good for both of them and would have been a memorable series of commercials. |
