FN113D vs FD157P - Air Cleaner Rubber - 1977
 
Hi. I ordered FN113D thinking this was the rubber glued to the underside of shaker, mated to top of air cleaner. It does not look correct. I just ordered FD157P.

Can you please help me understand where each goes. Thanks

The FN113D is the seal that goes into the lid to seal it to the base. And the FD157P would be the seal to seal the shaker to the air cleaner lid.

My shaker seals to the base (with the stainless trim ring holding them together), not the lid. The lid seals the air cleaner element to the base, it doesn't touch the top edge of the base..

The catalog may be incorrect. FN113D 1967-81 Air Cleaner Lid Seal (RP) ....

I have not found this part on my 77
