what works best at removing gobs of tar from a truck?
 

road crews put down tar and gravel and didn't pack it down or anything. A friend drove truck through this as there was no other way.
Now trying to remove this tar.

what works best? has tried everything on store shelves and it's not doing the job.

any help is appreciated

Mineral Spirits, Kerosene, Diesel fuel

If it cures hard, painting will be necessary.

they used diesel and got most all of it off. Thanks!
