Attention All Military Vets that like All-You-Can-Eat Buffets !

On Monday nite, Nov 11, Golden Corral gives a free meal, including drink, to all military vets, including National Guard. Last year, my brother-in-law & I took advantage of this, & plan to do the same, this year.

Spouses do not get a free meal. But, all senior citizens get a discount. Hey, that's just one of the advantages of being a senior citizen. We've saved quite a few bucks with these discounts, especially when piggin out at the buffets.

Fifty-some years after my service (USAF 1963-67), I attended (with the wife) my first ever free veterans' event Wednesday evening. We enjoyed a good meal and a "Salute to the Veterans" concert by the award-winning high school music groups.

Tomorrow's the day. 5-9 PM. I'll be there, at my closest location, in West Monroe, LA. :)
