Blue tooth in a 2002 T/A

My wife has a 2002 WS6 T/A daily driver. She wants blue tooth to be able to drive and talk on the cell hands free. Does anyone know how to do this using the Monsoon system that is in the T/A?

Any info appreciated.

Hey there. I'm not sure if you've sorted this out yet or not, but the best answer, though maybe not the one your're looking for, is to replace the head unit with one of the many aftermarket units that have bluetooth capability. Examples here https://www.crutchfield.com/shopsear...oth.html?&pg=2

However, if your wife's T/A has the cassette player rather than the CD in dash, you can try this- https://www.ionaudio.com/cassette-ad...-cassettebtxca

I haven't used it, so i can't personally vouch for how well it works, but it claims to do exactly what your're looking for. Home Depot sells it online for under $20 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ion-Audi...TXCA/207161531

If you don't have the cassette player but are intent on keeping the totally stock look, you could swap a Monsoon with the cassette player and use the adapter above.
