Annual Badger State Chapter Show Sept. 5

Our all Pontiac & GMC show will be held in Omro, Wisconsin at Scott Park on the Fox River Sept. 5. This will be our 36th Annual show. Note that entry is only $5.

We will award trophies to the 20 cars that get the most popular votes, plus the city of Omro's Mayor's Choice, the High School Fabrication Club award, and the Longest Distance Driven award.

The park is located on the bank of the Fox River, so there are excellent photo ops.

We will have food available supplied by the local military veteran's club. Come have a good time with our Pontiac Lovers!

Here are some pictures from last year's Badger State Chapter Show. You won't find a nicer all-Pontiac/GMC car show! Entry only $5.

We met at Scott Park today to make last minute plans for the Sept. 5 show. Last year, we had 105 Pontiacs registered for the show. That was our first year at the Omro location. We received very good feedback and anticipate a larger turnout this year.

Remember, the entry fee is only $5.00. We will award trophies to the 20 highest vote-getters plus a cash award of $50 for the longest distance driven. The Omro Mayor will pick his favorite, which will be another trophy.

Food will be available on site, furnished by the Red Arrow Division, a local veteran's group.

Join us if you can!

Show went well--We had 117 Pontiacs and one older GMC Suburban. We even had a 1928 Pontiac, which won a trophy. Our club members did a super job of setting up beginning at 6:30 AM Saturday morning. The Red Arrow Veterans Association provided the food. We thoroughly enjoyed a full day of PONTIACS!

I've attached a few pictures from the show. Note the two race cars. Glory Days was the fastest GTO door slammer in the country in the 1980's, running low 9's with a 455 with RAIV cast iron 722 heads. Then there's Rich Toll's '65 Iris Mist GTO, which just got a makeover this past year.

We were lucky to have such a variety of Pontiacs, and very nicely done Pontiacs!!

Nice turn out and killer weather. Sorry I couldnt make it due to a vacuum issue. Hope to have it fixed soon.

This was a very nice show with good cars and people. This should be on your list to attend.

Paul, I heard you were at our show. I also heard your Le Mans is very nice. I did not get a chance to look at it Saturday, but would like to sometime.

I've got to get this on my radar. A friend told me about it last week, but just couldn't put my schedule together well enough.
