So you want no fuel return line and no vapor return line?

my car just has a single 3/8 line just like my 75 no air ta . i can get that pump but the pump bottom is alot deeper on the 74 so the hard fuel line wont fit
the vapor line is on the drivers side and the fuel line is on the passenger side

is a 74 trans am 4 speed without a/c supposed to have a return line?

A '74 "Trans Am" would have come with a 4 bbl carb. Which means it should have come with the AC40931 fuel pump and a return line (large body). AC40929 would be a 2 bbl. exc. vapor return line (small body). AC40930 would be a 2 bbl. with a vapor return line (small body).

A '75 "Trans Am" should have come the same way, don't know the number.
I do see a '75 fuel pump (AC41155) listed as a 8 cyl. eng. exc. vapor return line, but I would assume that would have come on a 2 bbl. eng. (small body).
