New Carpet - Standard 1/2" Jute or Mass Backing
 

Guys, I am buying new carpet. I have the thick tar paper sound deadener in my car.

Which carpet should I get?

I think I've read where the standard jute is a bit more flexible and easier to work with than the mass backing. I plan to use a sound deadener first and the standard jute carpet.
