OEM Radiator vs New Aluminum Unit
 

As long as I'm being so chatty today...thought I would share the following regarding radiators. Had to look high and low to find a radiator shop to flush, test, and repair my OEM radiator...seems most shops in the area just replace them these days....they don't repair them anymore ! Anyway, while I was looking
at replacing it with an aluminum aftermarket unit, I did a quick comparison and found that the two Champion Aluminum units weighed in at 13 lbs. and 16 lbs.
So I went out and weighed my factory radiator and was surprised to find that it weighed only 17.6 lbs. I thought there would be a much greater difference.
