Stabilizer Shaft to Strut Insulator

If anyone has a "stash" of NOS items, I need a Front Stabilizer Shaft Strut Insulator in order to make some copies. It's Group # 7.243, Part # 539354.
If that turns out to be another piece of "unobtainium", a used one that's in very good shape might work. I know... good luck on that ! But you never know.

I don't have any new ones. But here are pictures of the used one in the barn.

We're looking for the ones at the end of the sway bar that wrap over the stabilizer shaft. The rubber bushings on the threaded end are already available.

Isn't that what he showed you in the first picture?

Yep...Just wanted to be clear.

Chiefkey, Do you have a way to 3D print a new rubber part like that? Just wondering, or are you going to make a mold?

Chiefkey 10-14-2020 03:49 PM

Pete... We'll have to make a mold. From what I've been told, I doubt we can 3-D print in rubber, but it may be possible to "scan" a used piece, then clean it up digitally and then use that data to 3-D print a hard copy that can then be used to make a mold. Seems like a lot of effort for a little rubber insulator, but I guess why not ! Still be easier if a NOS piece could be found.
