Flasher on fuse box? 66 Pontiac Bonneville
1 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a picture of there fusebox for a 66 full size? My Bonnevilles looks like this. is there suppose to be a flasher in that corner? It doesnt look like theres metal prongs in mine or its missing? |
Yes a flasher goes in there. You should have prongs in there also. Remove it from the firewall and separate the front face from the back and see what is there.
|
What's wierd is there is a flasher that fits it. However it wont fit because of that bolt and there are no prongs.
|
The flasher on the fuse box is typically the hazard flasher...at least on a "A" body. If that's true with yours, didn't the hazard flashers start being supplied in '67?

The flasher for the turn signals is in the wiring harness and clips to the dash face roughly in the area of the radio/ash tray
|
MISTAKE IN ABOVE POST! Verified in chassis manual. Flasher is next to instrument cluster , roughly parallel to it in a clip on the left end of the cluster area. NOT near the radio/ash tray. Sorry, wrong year. Pink power wire from fuse box feeds connector. Purple wire from the turn signal switch completes the circuit.
