That's what I was thinking, way over priced for a 1bbl engine, even with a T-5, flywheel and bellhousing.

I just read the fine print, it says the T-5 and manual trans stuff is EXTRA cost. Still a zero too many at minimum.

I'll sell you my running 68 OHC 1bbl with a complete, correct A/C compressor with muffler, brackets and mounts, p/s, alternator, 7 blade A/C fan blade, bellhousing, flywheel and a T5 that just had all new bearings & seals for only $2995.00 :) :D
I'll even throw in a Sprint intake & exhaust manifolds a 68 OHC Sprint quadrajet and a decent Y pipe plus
A body frame brackets and motor mounts! ;)

If he was out west I'd throw a $150 offer at him.

The first OHC I bought was essentially that package right there. A "running" complete 1bbl (though '69 250) with a 2 speed auto attached to it. Paid $250 and it may of been running, but it had one cam lobe that was wasted.

I traded the 2-speed trans for a 292 chevy crank.

I think I paid $250 for my running 68 complete with a 3 speed trans, flywheel , bell housing and shifter.

I don't anyone looking for a 2 speed auto.
If you do, let them know they can pick one up for free in Sayreville, NJ.
