1978 formula two tone question
 

I have a frien painting a 78 formula, it is two tone. does anyone have the dimensions for the second color at the bottom of the car? thanks

Hello All....I am doing a 79 Formula & there are decal sets sold by Classic Industries . Are they decals originally or painted on? Thanks!!

The lower band of colour is painted around the base of the car. The pinstripes and call-outs are decals from new and standard. On a W50 Formula in 79 you also get the large Formula lettering along the base and painted hood scoops with matching pinstripe surrounds. A standard Formula has hood-coloured scoops and small Formula call-out on fender below the chrome Firebird emblem.
