Accel Dual Point Cap & Rotor PN's?

Using an Accel Dual Point (PN 30102) Distributor in my latest Pontiac build.
Anybody have an old speed catalog that could tell me the PN of the replacement Cap & Rotor?
Or possibly have a new cap for it that they'd like to sell?
Thanks,

I have one of those in a box here somewhere.
Almost certain from running those accel distributors that they just use a standard old style Ford style snap on cap and push on rotor. Any parts store will have it

I'll check that out. Thanks!

Those are such a pain to play with the advance curve in them if I recall right from the days when I ran one on the street.

Yep the advance mechanism is in the bottom of the housing. Distributor gear has to come off and the unit disassembled to change weights and springs.

And no to mention the loss of the needed vacuum advance in terms of a street motor, especially a everyday street motor like I was using to get to and from work!

I lived with that in the motor for two weeks and then happily put the stock one back in !
It was a lesson well learned in regards to a motor that only needed to buzz to 5800 rpm.

I have one each new in the box 8330 and 8220. If either will work
i'll take $25.00 each plus shipping

Compared an Accel 8220 to the Cap I have.
Does look very similar- Not sure if it might possibly work in a pinch with some modification (I didn't pull out the Distributor itself to verify)- but visually it's not a direct replacement fitment:

1) The ID is about 0.080" smaller on the 8220
2) Different provisions for locking the rotation of the cap on the Dist body (slots/tabs)
3) The Cap to Body locking mechanism tabs on the outside of the cap are different height.

Believe that 8220 is for a Ford application.
The 8330 I believe is a Chrysler application.

I had the store order one of those 8330s to try out tomorrow.

Accel 120123 for the 53-57 GM V8.
We have a winner.

FYI:
Looks like all the Accel Dual Point Distributors use the same Cap & Rotor- Pontiac, Chevy, Mopar & Ford.
Same with the Rotor.

And you don't need to buy Accel specifically,
Any brand works- 1953-1957 GM V8 application.

So you can even tell the Auto Parts Guy you want a Distributor Cap & Rotor for your 1955 Pontiac with the Strato-Streak V8.

It does appear that the Accel offering is still a quality Made in USA part too- with Brass Contacts.

Yep, that's what I was trying to convey but I guess didn't come across well enough.

Accel didn't reinvent the wheel, they just use the same caps and rotors that were already in production. The later small HEI version of that distributor that Accel made in the 80's is the same way, I have one of those here I ran for a while. Has the HEI module bolted to the outside of the housing, and uses the same small Ford snap on cap and push on rotor button. It's actually a nice little HEI distributor if you like small and compact.

I can get the brass contact Ford snap on caps from Napa right up the street here.
