69 VIN Stamped near head surface
 

Anyone seen a 69 Atlanta plant vin stamped here? Stamped up near passenger head surface. For some reason the plant letter is very faint but looks like a "A" when blown up.

And most all Fremont

Those are all usually stamped more near the passenger side cylinder head

Yep.....The 69 Atlanta coded XP RAIV block I had was stamped in the same location just at a different angle. The "A" was so faint that I had to use a wire brush and a 20X magnafication jewelers loop to see it. The gang letter was totally worn out.
