It ran good when last driven?

If so, did it make noise or 'odd' when first started or ran a little bit?

Possibly lifters didn't pump up enough at first and they were loose enough to fall 'away'...

If the lower right post is basically perpendicular to the left top post, (if they went straight to each without the angled piece), I'd say it is probably 22.5º

My data it seems to be in the area to fit. Seems a lot of Fremont is kinda spread out sometimes, but may be from having to have engines on hand so may be used as 'last in and 1st out' of the racks?

Check with voltmeter where you have 12 volts and don't?
(probably 12 volts to starter, but none from starter to alternator?)
