Get the outside diameter of the neck on the back of the MC. Find a O Ring or flat washer that has the same diameter. Make sure it's thicker than the grooove that's in the MC and install it with that....

I was told the same thing but I had 2 brand new boosters sent to me and they were actually 2 different models and they both had a vacuum leak from the piston on the face. There is a vacuum seal there...

You've ruled out a bad battery by disconnecting it for 2 weeks and it will start right up. You have something drawing it down while it's connected. Check how you have the leads hooked up to the meter...
