New alternator, I have spare voltage reg, could swap it in easy enough. I'll give that a try. I reused a new harness & voltage reg and had been sitting over 20 years since I tore the car down.

Had a worn out 65 421 in my 68 Firebird at one point, wish had kept that block. Lifters ticking and clouds of blue smoke and it still would light the tires! Great block to build.
