Not much interest in these older 389 engines unfortunately.

Pretty sure those castings were used on every 1961 and 1962 V8 engine, there’s nothing special or desirable about them. They have 1.88”...

Not at all like the regular Performer which is better suited to milder 350 and 400 builds.

7156 Performer RPM is the good one.

I’ll be using a set on a cast air-cooled VW solid cam, like many others have done successfully.

$470 for a set of 8 lifters.

He’s asking in a roundabout way which Chevelle 12-bolt would be the same width as a 1967 GTO 10-bolt.

Definitely the later 68-72 12-bolt.
