So, last night I replaced my alternator with one that I had tested and was good. Also fixed a few iffy connections and the 30amp fuse behind the alternator. I pulled my ground wire from the battery...

So, the good one has 1100843 on it. Googled it and it said it was a 61amp - V8 with A/C. That could be correct, it came on the car originally.

thanks for the info. When I grabbed them out of the garage it was dark and plus they could use a cleaning, so I didn't see anything. After I got them tested and wiped off I can see some #'s on there....
