Last night I pulled out the cable (from the jacket) at the speedometer end. There was gunk in there and it was hard to pull out. I soaked the cable in sewing machine oil and re-inserted....

As i had mentioned several weeks ago, I had a best time of 12.49 at 109 mph in my '79 TA with the 403 motor. Stock weight minus hood and A/C stuff.

The only significant mods were re-worked heads...
