On the no spoiler Formula deck lid, when you install a spoiler what happens to the Firebird emblem and I assume holes there? Do they get covered up by the spoiler?

You can always just buy a pair of new reproduction mirrors that fit the 1969 firebird perfectly. Much easier and they have the right mounting angles.

1971-1972 455HO water pump pulley part # needed

Can anyone confirm the correct 2 groove water pump pully used on 1971-1972 455HO cars ?

Was it the 481040 XT pulley used on all other V8 of the era or did it have a different part number?

I melted the driver side one on the chassis dyno...

I melted the driver side one on the chassis dyno with Doug's headers. Added a metal heat shield around these motor mounts and no issues since....
