Gotta admit though, the LT1 delivers old 389 amounts of low end torque, and the LS1 owners complain of sorta weak below 3000-3500 rpm....

The brakes you want are the 94-96 Impala...
The brakes you want are the 94-96 Impala SS/9C1/9C6 discs, they are vastly superior to the OEM offerings from 79-81 and are 11 to 12in (I think just under 12", and will fit in a GM 15" steel wheel...
