I have 67 firebird with a 326, im looking to up...

I have 67 firebird with a 326, im looking to up grade to a 400. the block im looking to by istn in a car. This is why i need help to identify the block.

Trying to buy a 400 block, but how can i tell that im get the right block. I know a little about the engine codes but is there anything else i should know like any casting # or block marking. please...

THANKS FOR THAT ADVICE. IM NOT SURE IF THAT THE RIGHT CARB BECAUSE MY BLOCK HAS A YJ CODE WHICH I BELIVE MAY BE A 350. WHEN I ORDERED THE CARB I ASK FOR STOCK 326 CARB. I'VE HAD THE CAR FOR 16 YEARS...
