I found it easiest to get a saw horse and rapidly...

I found it easiest to get a saw horse and rapidly see-saw the tank, sloshing the stuff around. Seemed easier than shaking. Worked well with little effort.

if you do a swap.... Offy and a few other companies make adaptors to mount holley carbs.

Then you could mount a 350cfm or 500cfm Holley 2bbl carb and get away from these rochesters.

I did the gravel and muriatic acid thing, along with some pressure washing. Turned out great. It was just a trick to get the gravel out.
