Thanks. He did try a MSD distributor and locked out the advance for one pull. Had tried 4 distributors all same result. I will mention to him to look at the damper for any problems.

If you would not oppose running a QJet I think the stock '68-72 iron intake would match up best, given your head flow, etc. If you must use a Holley then a Performer would work out fine.
