ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, use anything BUT the correct heat treated spring steel washers. They have a specific O.D. And most importantly the correct specific I.D. For the .491 GM distributor...

That was a brand new GM crate 350. I had bought modules from autozone(Wells), Oreilleys (Standard), and Napa (Echlin). All were sub par.all suffered...

Not far - we've moved from Pontiac to just east of Lansing. This was our downsize/rightsize for retirement move.

So from one "Motor City" (Pontiac) to another "Motor City" (Oldsmobile!).

The best way to address windage tray fitment and clearencing is to simply not use one. They are not needed with a good baffled oil pan like the Morroso or Canton. That's what I started doing here...
