I read somewhere on this board that the 744 cam is pretty happy on the juice, so maybe look into that for a lo-cost cam. This is a completely amateur opinion, but i'd bet it'll handle a 150 shot...

yeah I saw that too, he's promising a 326 stroker motor, that'd be interesting, judging from the progress with the 350 stroker, it's definitely possible.

yeah all the other lights work fine, blinkers f and b, headlights, it's just the taillights. They stay fully on, in brake light position, at all times.

I say if the vinyl is in good shape and there's no rust underneath then leave it as is. I have a 69 lemans that had a thrashed top (reason I removed it) and it took A LOT of hours to get all that...
