I looked up the spec for micro rating and didn't find any. Does says it's a high flow filter. Maybe that's why higher pressure reading. More flow. I always assumed that filter was more restrictive....

Wix filters on sale here. 51258. $6.45 each. That's like around $4.68 U.S. I bough a case. I think regular is around $11 a filter.

Valve Springs.

I was not aware of this till lately. Valve spring installation. Can anyone confirm this. Pic 1 has a notch, Pic 2 doesn't. Same spring.

I guess there is a bit of a notch at the top of the outer...

Here is a good video on spring to retainer clearance. This is not meant to contradict any other post. I watch and read some very creditable folks on the subject and some say .005"-.010" clearance....

I went to a ford dealership here and bought myself some horns because they are really load. The price was around $25 for one. I put 2 on each car. there the same horns used on the Ford vans.

Thanks Tim: Sounds like you got a good handle on things. PAC does make some very nice springs. I would work with them first to see if they can accommodate you better.

Go get yourself this book and checkout how the parts are removed and installed. When fitting the pump at the end, leave off the pump o-ring and gasket till you get the pump sitting in properly.

Were running a 55mm Solid roller .903 Crower lifters. Around 220 seat and 520-540 open. Spinning to 6800-7000 in the 1/4 mile.
