I don't necessarily have a problem with dyeing the dash or other pieces, it's the fact that they want $600 additional dollars to do it.

I already have the paint for the steel interior parts mixed...

That's how I feel. I'd have no problem with the upcharge if it was actually blue vinyl.

I've run dash caps on a few cars, and if you take your time with them they can turn out pretty nice....
