Four speed brackets? Location?

I have two brackets that that I bought a while ago off a local poncho guy. I was told they are four speed brackets only. Apparently they only come on 4 speed cars. They are like a 14" piece of angle...

Those tabs are not curved on the bottom. Bend them away another 1/4". Put a pencil at the bottom then bend the tabs back down to create a pocket.

I fold up a piece of 22ga galvanized in the duct shop, put a 4" lip down and one 4" in the back. I'm on my second one. First one last 16 years. Resistant to all chemicals.

I got the same thing done to a set of 197's and it was $1,400. But I got new PAC roller springs. That price is reasonable I think.

I call it tar tape. typical in the HVAC/R industry. Stock it at work, yoou can get it at RE Michels or any HVAC store/supply house.

I found a GTO in Conneticut... so I bought it

Yep. I would absolutely use it. I don't care what the internet says. And I did. I got about a dozen cases of about 8 year old proline from a closed down pep boys in the old style packaging/labeling.....
