Doesn't matter whether timing is at 0, 12, or 22...

I wonder how much HP you can get out of a well-built, cammed, aluminum headed turbo 301? Boost is boost, to a degree, should be able to add 30-50% to a 300hp basic build -- no?

Definitely run a few hundred miles with the stock distributor if it is known to be good. EFI is a major mod and should be done with no other changes to muddy the waters.
