The leak was coming out of the connection where...

The leak was coming out of the connection where the timing cover and the thermostat housing meet the staining was from the fan blowing back the coolant I'm sure of that. Thanks again.

Thanks for everyone's input, steelcityfirebird I'll try your advice and see if it works, if not I'll follow the rest of your suggestion. Removing the intake sound a lot better than the timing chain...

Gentleman, can you run a electric fuel pump with a mechanical pump installed just for cold starts? I have the same issue with cold starting, the carb was rebuilt and sealed for fuel drainage issues....

Bob, I would check the bushings on the shift levers to see if they are worn, if so replace them their Inexpensive. I would also check your neutral alignment pin.

No air, the trans is coded to a M21 which is on the window sticker and the serial numbered is stamped on the trans which matches the car.

The car has a 400 CI. engine, the window sticker has G80 safe- t- track differential- HD 361, underneath that there is G92 axle-special order 362 but I haven't found what the codes translate to.
