Dual Snorkel air cleaner question

On the bottom of the dual snorkel air cleaner there is a large hose and fitting. Where does that hose go and who sells that fitting?

1971 8.2 axle seals

I replaced my 1971 axle seals and bearings. Before slipping on the seal on I greased the inside of the lip seal and press the bearing/collar.

My question is does the outside of the seal rubber...

Thanks, I really thought it might be dumb question. My car is a 68 but i cleaned up a 71 axle for it and when I assembled it I assumed it took gaskets. Are they gonna hurt anything?
