It is when they use the wrong PN, as I eluded to earlier. That is the same incorrect one muscle car air cleaners.com used on their refurbished unit.

I'll look in my books. The only thing I saw before was on the standard 455 Formula, a different vent tube was used between A/C and non-A/C.

The '70 Formula 400 and '71 Formula 400 air cleaners I've measured were the same. 1-1/2" from the edge of the square hole to the edge of the snorkel flange.

PP is incorrect for any '70 air cleaner, that I know of.
