Yeah, you'd think so. I have at least one of every year MPC starting in 1969 thru '76 and the common 1983 printing. Some '69-70 FB references disappeared and many did not. I'm thinking the ones...

BTW, both '70's are May '70 Van Nuys.

I'm thinking, IMHO, that Pontiac may have considered continuing the 1st Gen....

I remember we found a GM of Canada parts catalog that showed this to be a trunk lid emblem (plate, actually) for a 1970 Firebird 400. Google "emblem 9808505" & the link should come up.

Nope, sorry RAIII, but you need to go out & look at your TA or std. FB hoods again, like I just did. The oval &/or round hole I'm referring to is biased to the DRIVERS (left) side of the hood.
