Best location for PVC valve

I am running a 455 in a 1977 T/A, the valley pan has a hole for the PVC but I think the 77 T/A used the valve cover???? Is one better then the other?

HELP!! 77 T/A fwd frame nuts spinning

I am replacing my frame bushings on a 1977 T/A and the aft nuts on the fwd frame gust spin. The forward nuts spin but I plan on tearing the locking cap off and putting a wrench on the nut....
