I'm thinking I need the return line, with the rigged setup, my filter and regulator stay cold, w/out a pressure rise after shutdown. With it plumbed to the tank the filter and regulator gets hot...

Looking for opinions what would be best.

I have a 66 389w/tripower and it appears I am having vapor lock issues with rising fuel pressure especially after the engine is off to the point fuel...

Sorry to ask this question because I'm sure its been beat to death.

I have to make a decision if I am gonna have my 389 rebuilt.
I have already invested alot of time and $ over a couple of years...

Thanks for the replies.... So vacum is basically routed off a port in the back of the center carb and the vacum is not ported off the manifold.

I was wondering how the vacum advance hose is routed on a 66 tri power? Is it routed to a vacum port on the back of the center carb. Should it routed throgh ported vacum??

Not sure what the total is? The distributor is the factory with a petronix conversion. The springs and weights are I believe Mr. Gasket. The springs being used are 1 light and 1 medium.
