Well, project is almost done. I took my stock '62 LeMans, threw on some wide whites, lake pipes, lowered it a few inches, and painted it Satin Blue with a White Pearl Top and added some pin stripes...

For tech advice, try Outlaw Racing in Upland Calif. He is a Pontiac mechanic and also races them. He is good for any advice you may need. I thing he is a Kiwi as well.

Try East-West Auto Parts out of Oklahoma. He is a little pricey but usually has a bunch of Tempests/LeMans in the yard. I have never been dissapointed with the service or part.

If the car is a complete, well optioned original, I would keep it that way. Once you change it, it is now longer an original. I would be more inclined to find another Tempest then do the changeover...
