I have a similar torque converter selection to make, so I'm wondering if a 2500 stall is necessary for a street cruiser, or is 2000 adequate? Hughes make a GM20, too.

OK... that's what I eventually did. For some reason, I thought the "disk" part of the fan clutch pulled off that shaft. Thanks for the help!

OK... the neighboring intake valve has a 9.130" pushrod. So, I think someone really jurry-rigged that rocker/pushrod with some non-Pontiac parts. I'll buy a new 9.130" pushrod and correct stamped...

By the way... this 400 was probably a 290hp out of a big car, so it should have the lowest performance cam in it (I don't know for sure). I think it's a '68 400 YC code with the 75cc #15 heads...
