Try this.... blow air (low Psi)from fuel pump...

Try this.... blow air (low Psi)from fuel pump inlet hose back to the tank....(remove fill cap)
see if fuel / air is leaking from a cracked or pin hole in the steel line......If you find a leak,,,,...
