Go for the chevy motor. I dont really see any reson not too, especially if you will come out financially on top. Many will say ( and have a valid point) that pontiacs make more torque, but with a 500...

I use the 300+ box (in my mustang) and it works great. Its very small and easy to mount. Like said before the rev limiting is easear to set and you dont need the pills. My milage picked up a lot too.
