Mini starter

Looking to install a mini starter on my 1969 gto with points ignition. Question is will I have to install a diode some where on the factory wiring to prevent back feeding or is this a non issue...

Recently bought a 69 gto, and I’m chasing down some things. I’m trying to find out what this brown wire is for. Didn’t see it on the schematic maybe the noise capacitor?

I've ran these 275/60/15 for years on the rear it's a little tight in the area of the seat belt mount. Also the 275 tend to ballon out on a 7" rim. On the front 235/60/15.

Mallory 57 series distributor

Wondering if the 57 series is a better choice over the unilites and will it fit a dual quad setup. From what I've been reading the unilites are prone to voltage spikes.

Engine-Ear, there were four grommets per support. Wasn't sure which way to mount so I searched some pics on the web. I saw some mounted in that direction so i went with it.
