Trans Am hoods

Where are the date codes on the Trans Am hoods ? Is this an early hood thing or would they be on all hoods ? I was told somewhere on the passenger side of the hood.

I have a rally shifter that came out of my 71 Formula. This was attached to a TH400. Will this bolt right on to a TH350? Going to sell it and I'm not sure. Thanks, Chris.
